Primarily a portrait artist of people and animals, Judith lives and paints in Southern California. She is also an accomplished costumer designer in television, film, and theater.

Receiving her Masters of Fine Arts Degree from UCLA, she studied art at Pierce College, Otis, Art Academy of Los Angeles, and the Brentwood Art Center.

Judith Started drawing and painting when she was five years old and continued a passion for art throughout her life. While still in college, Judith designed and originated the Paper Dress and was featured in Time, Life, Look, Vogue, Mademoiselle, Women’s Wear Daily and Business Week.

From this eminent beginning, Judith then designed for Mattel Toys. Her designs became the iconic hippie 1970’s Barbie and Ken outfits that are well-known collector items today.

Judith also taught costume design at UCLA. In her work as a costume designer for film and television, she has sketched and painted desings garnered many accolades including an Emmy nomination. Her costume drawings and character studies inspired her to capture the essence of people and animals.
